Making
The Spiritans form Duquesne,
The Tamburitzans who danced and sang
Find inspiration and contribute
To places that help the soul commute.
It makes
The scholar fight to stay up,
The crowd boost to put the Dukes up,
The knees on A-Walk continue to stride,
And our groups to keep—Faith Alive.
It makes
The learners chase the class ring,
Tamburitzans still continue to sing,
Liturgies swell with cheers & tears,
The nightlife live beyond these years.
It is
The helper to find God & then oneself,
Helping the lost to find someone else,
&
Just as it helps joined man & wife:
It is the Spirit that gives life.
