25 Days Until the Release of Alma Mater Vol. 2: The Northeast!

If you ask someone to name all the schools they can think of in the Northeast Region of the United States, you’ll hear schools like

  • Harvard
  • Yale
  • Boston College
  • Columbia
  • Princeton
  • Syracuse
  • Georgetown
  • Dartmouth
  • Penn State
  • UConn
  • MIT
  • Brown
  • Maryland
  • Rutgers
  • NYU
  • UPenn
  • Cornell
  • Pitt
  • Tufts
  • Wellesley
  • Hofstra
  • Boston University
  • Carnegie Mellon
  • Drexel
  • Rochester

Should they be able to make it this far, they would feel a sense of accomplishment to be able to name so many schools from this prestigious region. Truly, the list reads as a who’s who not only in the Northeast, but in American academia as a whole. There are 25 days until the release of Alma Mater Vol. 2: The Northeast, which contains poetry inspired by and dedicated to each of these 25 institutions. And these 25 institutions…

Make up only one quarter of the schools in the volume.

On March 3, 2015, 100 Colleges of the Northeast will be celebrated in the second installment of the series that Kirkus Reviews calls “A Thoroughly Unique Poetry Project” with “A variety of delightfully unexpected poetic forms.” In this volume, you will not only get to experience the above 25 schools, but you will get to learn about so many others.
