Underground Railroad

From Art of Mind: Philosopoems to the World

*Underground Railroad*

They seem to walk
The Path of Righteousness —
Of the “decent” and the “plain…”
Others are Clearly Ran—
But they’re All aboard the train.

The kids around the block,
Have been around the block.
The teens behind the tracks,
Have earned their share of tracks.
Adults maintain innocence—
While Dipping in pleasures of sin,
Their partners would find them guilty…
But they’re busy expanding the trend.
It’s a Nationwide Movement!
Harriet Tubman would be proud!
The naïve have no idea —
Of what happens Underground.

If you wish to climb aboard,
A ticket you’ll surely find,
but do not wait too late—
Or you’ll get left behind.
