Well Excuse Me,
Ms. Sunshine,
Not all worlds are as
Rosy as yours.
Believe it or not, somewhere there’s
Stormy Weather,
Withering Fruit,
Delicate Flowers Trampled,
Shattered Earths,
Aftershocks…
Even people being put
In the Ground.
So the next time you see me at a funeral you know Nothing About,
Do not ask me why I am not smiling.
