Last night, the North Carolina Tar Heels took home the NCAA championship with their victory over Gonzaga. I’m proud that the year the Tar Heels won the championship is the same year that the piece I wrote that ordained it was released. As the piece proclaimed, this was in fact their season. The piece was shared on this page from the first day of the March Madness tournament all the way up until this past weekend. You can find the piece here:
What else is inside this collection of 99 other pieces? What else can be learned about these places and what makes each of them unique? There’s only one way to find out.
This is a special collection of 100 creative pieces dedicated to the top universities of the South. You can visit Amazon.com or your Kindle book store and purchase any of the three previous volumes of Alma Mater, a series Kirkus reviews has called “A thoroughly unique project” with “A variety of delightfully unexpected poetic forms.” In the first three volumes, you’ll find celebrations of the top universities of the Midwest, Northeast, and West respectively.
And now you can preview and purchase Alma Mater Vol. 4 below for only $0.99 or for free with Kindle Unlimited!
The madness may be over, but the celebration of college life, youth, and the human experience can continue far past Chapel Hill and into your living room with just a single click.
