Best of Alma Mater Nominees to Resume Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, I will continue to share the nominees for poems that are being considered for the Best of Alma Mater collection due out next year. Now is the perfect time to begin following the series and help determine which pieces will make the final cut! The nominees are being revealed in the order they appeared in the series, so start reading Vol. 1 now and predict which piece will be next following Wednesday’s nominee, The University of Purdue!

The final volume of the series: Alma Mater Volume 4: The South was just released this past spring, and now I am assembling a Best of Alma Mater collection due out next year. There were a total of 400 poems in the Alma Mater series, 100 from each volume: The Midwest, Northeast, West, and South. As it is currently, the list sits at roughly 120 poems that will appear in the “Best of.” Ideally, I would like to cut it down to 100. That’s where you come in. I will be sharing each of the nominees slowly through the next several months, and each nominee is going in chronological order of how they appear in the series.

I have already begun sharing the nominees from the Midwest, and the first four nominees that are currently published on my site are: The University of Chicago, Illinois Tech, Notre Dame, and Purdue University….with these pieces appearing in that order in the first volume of the series.
