Colorado School of Mines Poem

*CSM*

These E-Days of earth, environment, and energy
Convert the dull—to tools that embolden
Orediggers at Mines in a life that refines
The Blue & Silver: Welcome to Golden.
They pull full ore carts with this energy,
Freshmen spot the “M” and know that it’s Mines,
Then climb Zion—and find an inner chi,
They look down below and whisper, “It’s mine.”

The school made whole by The Mining Engineer,
Singing, “M-I-N-E-S!!”
This “Golden Tech” is at the mountaintop,
And where Orediggers discover their best.
All over campus: The Gang’s All Here:
A museum well known for a collection that rocks,
Brown Hall to study, then Stratton to hear:
Congrats, Orediggers, you’ve reformed the clocks.
