From Art of Mind: Philosopoems to the World
I could’ve always scored,
If I hadn’t left my guard up…
I stayed watching in the backcourt, When I could’ve had a lay-up.
I hardly threw a pitch — How could I expect to catch her?
My gates wouldn’t let them pass,
I turned the masses to “denses…”
Just throw one more curve my way…
I swear — I’ll Swing for the Fences.
