From Alma Mater Vol. 1: The Midwest. Available Now!

Take a walk through our trees & smoldering UIC Degrees
and you’ll behold a
Spark in the Park…
Worldwide like Little Italy and Greektown Recipes,
Wide as Grant and Millennium Park.
These United Nations join for a
Taste of Chicago,
In the melting pot of the UIC,
Students make haste from the word go,
Commingling like the Flames in the JST.
It all begins here amid Harrison Field,
Whence these Flames are bound to amaze,
On to State & throughout this world: We Will Build:
Spread
Of the Blaze.
Our oncologists excel in cell research,
We nurse professionals in physics and pharmacy,
UIC leads Illinois in the health-care birch,
A Medical Museum of the Science Industry.
Flames reignite the first Thursday every fall,
And every year we reach a little higher,
Tribute to our Second Star—we roll a mighty ball:
The Great Chicago Fire.
