It is our pleasure to serve and put in motion
the pleasures reserved and it begins with the notion
That being known is not as fond as what for,
We assist mates and give their troubles what for.
Whether with friends on the beach or in Bren Center,
each volleyball victory requires the right assists.
Since entering the Division I level, with stars like
Matt Webber, Carson Clark, Taylor Wilson and Kevin Tillie,
UCI has been able to win four national championships in seven years
Along with the stem-cell advancers who have also won—
In battles against eye disease to unite many with the light of Irvine:
The irenic Californian cyclorama:
The skies above the ocean’s pull rubbed against,
New eyes stare to see what they are up against:
The blue beachside
That is by your side.
When accompanied by the darkly shadows of abandon,
The sight of sites of the coast will be your companion
Along with the many of the Irvine shore:
Aldrich Park, Zot Zone and the many more.
With new insight they can now dig the beach
And all the other many of Irvine’s feats:
Such as the championships won by a volleyball team
That makes this campus look like Lord of the Rings.
You deserve to be a part of this.
And everyone deserves to see the light,
And realize that when the foam clears
You can set your sights on Cali’s intoxicants,
Then take in every last ounce.
